A “casual” trip to Zimbabwe, they said. It’ll be relaxing, they said. Fast forward 48 hours, and I am standing on a bridge over the Zambezi River, sweating, ready to jump!
Spoiler alert: There is no such thing as a “casual” trip to Southern Africa. But if you embrace the chaos, the red dust permanently embedding itself into your socks, and the fact that wildlife always has the right of way, it is an absolute blast.
