Malta is split into two big islands (besides some smaller ones). We decided to hang around on Gozo, a paradise for those who scuba dive… I tried it there, but it’s not my thing; therefore, I was relaxing on the beaches and on my sea view balcony with a local beer.

We stayed in Marsalforn, a small town with some good nightlife. As we have been there in the middle of Corona, party life was not fully ramped up again, but this was also not the purpose of our visit.

One day we went on a heavy bike ride around Gozo. I have to admit; we got bikes with some extra electrical power. Nevertheless, it was needed, and some parts have been challenging. With some breaks in between (for a cold beer or some local food) it took a whole day to cycle around..

The other day we went to Victoria, a castle on “top of Gozo”. Nice to see, but I would not pay an enormous entrance fee for it… What you can see from the view is how brown and sandy Malta looks in the dry season… Colorful is something different…

After ten days leaving again as we came, on a ferry to the main island, with the idea to come back when the green time happens on Malta, to see how the island looks…
