My last stop before finally flying home was Singapore. And if you come to Singapore, everything is different. It’s expensive, but also very advanced… For example, some shops or restaurants do not even accept cash anymore. And the city is immaculate; spitting out chewing gum will lead to a 500-dollar fine… but on the other hand, the city feels like a bike amusement park. Everything has a fee; I didn’t see anything authentic that was “real Singaporean.”

So I spend my days precisely with everything, which is FUN!

Sentosa

Sentosa is a resort island located off the southern coast of Singapore, offering a variety of attractions, theme parks, and beaches. Originally used as a British military base and later a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp, Sentosa became a popular tourist destination after Singapore’s independence. Visitors enjoy thrilling rides at Universal Studios Singapore, sandy beaches like Siloso and Palawan Beach, and interactive wildlife encounters at attractions like an Aquarium. Easily accessible by cable car, monorail, or road, Sentosa provides a vibrant escape from the bustle of mainland Singapore.

So I took the cable car to the island, which gave me a fantastic view. That’s why I took the same cable car back by night to experience the view again.

I visited various attractions on that island besides eating and drinking at the beach.
Minor things have been various 4D and VR Experiences. All of them have been fun, for example, the 4D Marvel Movie or the VR experience driving a Formula 1 Ferrari.

I also went to Madam Tussaud. It’s not worth doing it — too small and mainly Asian VIPs, which at least I didn’t know.

The main attraction was the show Wings of Time. It is a spectacular multi-sensory night show set against the open sea on Sentosa island. The show combines lasers, pyrotechnics, water fountains, and a compelling story line to create a captivating experience. This award-winning permanent show is a highlight for many visitors and me!

Garden at the Bay

I visited the “Garden at the Bay” on my second day in Singapore. Gardens by the Bay is a futuristic nature park that spans over 100 hectares of reclaimed land in central Singapore. Its iconic Supertrees – vertical gardens reaching up to 16 stories in height – provide a dazzling display of lights and music during the nightly ‘Garden Rhapsody’ show.
The park features two climate-controlled conservatories: the Flower Dome, showcasing plants worldwide, and the Cloud Forest, with a towering indoor waterfall.

Besides all the “paid attractions,” I also walked around the city, especially the famous Marina Bay.

It’s a lovely city, but I must find a reason to return. Heading to the airport now…
